Information Collection and Usage
We require customers who register for a Service to provide us with contact information, such as their full name, company name, address, phone number, and e-mail address, and financial information for paid versions of the Service, such as billing name and address, and a credit card number. Additionally, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookie information, and the page you request.
Information entered by you and all users of your Account is secure and confidential, and we will not share, review, distribute, or print any of the data on your Account. Certain records may be viewed by select staff only for the purpose of resolving a technical problem or as may be required by law in response to a subpoena. We will never sell or share any personal or company information with any third parties or other Accounts. All information you enter on your Account is private to you and any users to whom you grant access. You or an Account administrator may update or correct your personal or company information at any time. Personal information in your Account is permanently deleted when you remove a user account. All personal and company information in your Account will be permanently deleted upon termination of your Account.
We may collect certain information from visitors to the Website and users of the Service, such as Internet addresses. This information is logged to help diagnose technical problems and prevent security breaches.
From time-to-time we may contact you relating to:
- Special offers and updates: We send all new users a welcoming email to verify their new account and to confirm their username and password. Established users will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Customers can unsubscribe via the unsubscribe mechanism provided at the bottom of each e-mail.
- Newsletter: New subscribers may be automatically subscribed to our newsletter. Out of respect for our users privacy we provide a way to opt-out of these communications via the unsubscribe mechanism provided at the bottom of each e-mail.
- Service Announcements: On rare occasions it may be necessary to send out a service-related announcement to Account holders and Users to notify them of specific outages or system maintenance. It is generally not possible for users to opt-out of these important service-related communications.
- Customer Support: We communicate with users on a regular basis in response to user-initiated support requests and issues registered through our customer service portal.
The Website uses “cookies” to improve the experience of the Service. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your computer by a Web server, often including an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. Persistent cookies can be removed by following the directions provided in your browser help file.
Cookies may be used if you choose for the Service to remember your login information. However, you are still required to log in to your Account after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect against others accessing your Account contents. Some cookies may be stored by the Service for longer periods, containing information such as preferences on how data should appear on an Account. We do not store any sensitive information such as passwords in cookies with a long expiration period.
We treat the security of your information as a top priority. We use a secure server hosting location, firewall protection, controlled access and secure data storage to protect your data. We also limit access to your data to employees who reasonably need to come into contact with that information to investigate a technical problem. While no system is guaranteed to be completely secure, we work hard to ensure our security measures protect all information in a responsible manner and use the most advanced technologies available today. You can read more about our security guidelines in our Security Statement.
